Hello and Welcome!

What better way to start off a professional website than with a blog post?

My name is Kristen & I've been drawing for my entire life. I used to work professionally between 2015-2017, but took an extended break until this last month. I'm currently at college studying art & animation, and though I have a lot of experience, there's always more that I can learn.

To start off, you might be able to tell, but I'm a character designer above all else. I'd like to expand into the animation industry as I learn, so you'll likely see a focus on my character designs & animations. If all goes well, the site could see an expansion into comic/graphic novel territory too - so there's a lot to look forward to!

These blogs will be my method of sharing my thoughts on my work, as well as communicating my processes to my college lecturers. I'm hoping that there will be plenty for everyone to learn as I go, though my primary focus will of course be on my own improvement.

I have many stories to tell, but I'm unsure as of yet if this is how I'll share them. Don't worry however - you will see these stories regardless of whether I cover them in blog posts.
